Behavioural Consultant
Part Time (30hr/week) Permanent
Outreach Therapy is a non-profit organization providing family-centred early intervention services to young children and their families. We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Behavioural Consultant to join our interdisciplinary team. Working alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Clinical Counsellors, and Therapy Assistants, you will support children and families using strengths-based, relationship-focused, and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
In this role, you will:
- Complete behavioural and developmental assessments.
- Develop individualized behaviour support and intervention plans.
- Coach and empower parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with childcare providers, schools, and community partners.
- Work as part of a supportive interdisciplinary team to help children participate and thrive in everyday life.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in a related field, BCBA designation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting children and families in pediatric, behavioural, developmental, educational, or community settings.
- Knowledge of positive behaviour support, child development, and family-centred practice.
- A valid BC Driver's Licence, reliable vehicle, and successful Criminal Record Check.

Physiotherapist
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Outreach Therapy team in Port Alberni, BC Vancouver Island! We work from a family centred philosophy to provide early intervention services to the children and families in our communities. This position provides great opportunities for personal and professional development in an innovative organization that values your unique approach and ideas.
As a physiotherapist, you will provide a blend of virtual telehealth and in-person care. You will work with diverse cultures and families within the hub community of Port Alberni and surrounding communities and cultures of the Alberni Clayoquot Valley Regional District.
