Behavioural Consultant

Part Time (30hr/week) Permanent

Outreach Therapy is a non-profit organization providing family-centred early intervention services to young children and their families. We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Behavioural Consultant to join our interdisciplinary team. Working alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Clinical Counsellors, and Therapy Assistants, you will support children and families using strengths-based, relationship-focused, and neurodiversity-affirming practices.

In this role, you will:

• Complete behavioural and developmental assessments.
• Develop individualized behaviour support and intervention plans.
• Coach and empower parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with childcare providers, schools, and community partners.
• Work as part of a supportive interdisciplinary team to help children participate and thrive in everyday life.

Qualifications: 

• A Master's degree in a related field, BCBA designation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting children and families in pediatric, behavioural, developmental, educational, or community settings.
• Knowledge of positive behaviour support, child development, and family-centred practice.
• A valid BC Driver's Licence, reliable vehicle, and successful Criminal Record Check.
